American Express came to us looking for ideas for their mobile channel. Already early adopters of this technology, they were searching for something beyond simple text messaging. We suggested a host of ideas ranging from brand-building to a mobile digital wallet to increasing productivity of a user’s downtime. We presented these ideas by using personas tied to individual American Express credit cards. The cards are loosely based on a particular lifestyle and using these personas helped illustrate real-world situations and characters.
The theme of this persona was “Access.” Below is a screenshot of the web presentation—a section for each card with a corresponding image gallery of Gary’s situational narrative.
The theme of this persona was “Distressed Inventory.” Below is a screenshot of the web presentation—Howard’s situational narrative.
