Responsible for art direction and technical development for the Emerging Technologies Group as part of the Creative Department at the largest private SEO agency in the US. Worked with a multidisciplinary team including information architects, copywriters, and designers to balance the technical details of SEO with branding initiatives to provide optimized content for clients like Coca-Cola, Batteries.com (winner of 2006 Web Award from the Web Marketing Association), Citibank, Onward Healthcare, PetCo, Fairmont, Kennedy Space Center, etc. I also participated in client pitches for optimized content and creative services for mobile and web channels for AmEx, Dollar Rent-a-Car, Charles Schwab, and Six Flags.

Responsible for designing an assortment of marketing materials for several in-house brands—The Knot, The Nest, Greatboyfriends, and PromSpot—as well as outside clients who advertise their products and services through these channels. Key clients included Kohls, Oral-B, Sony Music, Castle Resorts, and Collages.

As the first senior member of the creative team, I was responsible for both in-house visual branding of the agency (on and offline projects) as well as art direction and production for several corporate clients such as Ford (Mexico), McDonalds, Bradesco, and Expand Group. I also managed an in-house mentoring program for design school interns.

As the founding Art Director of Lowe Live, I was responsible for the world class creative and solid strategic thinking behind the digital marketing efforts of Dell, Dennys (finalist in the New York Festival, 2001), Western Union, Burger King, RCN, Courtyard, Homeroom, Lego, MapQuest, Amstel Light, Heineken, InterNap, SunGard, as well as in-house creative work for Lowe including site design, identity systems, and video editing. I was then promoted to Senior Art Director and began to manage junior designers and interns.

I designed and developed an intranet for one of the largest, privately held, multi-ethnic advertising companies in the country. This paved the way for more new media accounts and eventually designing and developing the company’s own site. I also prepared presentation materials for clients such as AT&T, Burger King, Ford, GlaxoSmithKline, Kraft, and Microsoft.
