Introduction
BEEMO is the graphic design studio of Brian Morris. I have worked in various sectors of graphic design including print, web, advertising, etc. I’ve built graphics and the like for large corporations as well as small businesses. I’ve worked alone on my laptop in cafes, collaborated with other talented designers and developers all over the world, as well as been in influential roles in large advertising agencies—always trying to inject a sense of humanity and wit into my work.
During my undergraduate work in the Psychology Department at UNC-Wilmington I was particularly interested in cognitive and perceptual psychology and how it relates to all the buttons and knobs we all interact with during our everyday lives. As I got further involved with graphic design and web development I began to realize the importance of my earlier studies.
At any rate, as a visual designer I am intrigued by the assortment of tools designers have in communicating and for this reason this awareness and intrigue has helped me to produce satisfying work for my clients (as well as myself).
